College searches can be confusing. There are a lot of acronyms to remember like FAFSA, ACT, SAT and PSAT. You get asked a lot of questions. Some of these questions are clearly related to your search: "Where do you want to go?" or "What do you want to study?". Some don't seem to have a lot to do with finding the best school for you: "How much did you earn at your job last year?", "How much did your parents earn last year?", or even "How much do you have in saved?". The college search process may not be very structured, but these questions are all intended to match you with the right colleges for you.
