The pressure for high school students to make a decision before its time is really irritating. You won’t even know how much financial aid you’re going to receive until the spring of your senior year so there is no reason why the typical student should be making a decision about where they want to go to college before then. When people start pressuring you to make a decision early, politely tell them you are gathering all the information you need and will not make a decision until you’re ready.
